最終投稿者: modan - 10月 03, 2025, 04:45:54 午後8月、9月と暑くてGDA-6の塗装もままならないので以前から気になっていた"Beechcraft Staggerwing"の
レース仕様はないものかと調べていたら．．．ありました。
C−17Rという1936年の時の機体です。女性二人によるベンディック・トロフィーレース参加機で、
後発のGタイプなどよりもエンジンが小さいのかカウル周りが寸詰まりな感じがします。
今回もC-17Rそのものの図面はなくC-17という括りでサイド図はありましたが上面、下面図は他のタイプのものを
参考にあとは写真を頼りにまた悩みつつ進めたいと思います。

塗装も終わりなんとか完成ですが毎度のことですが色々気になる点が残ります。
作業中コンパネがずれてしまいましたがキャノピーを取り付けてしまったため修正できずじまい。
なんとも間抜けな話です。

In 2006, we launched the "Fine Scale Model Net," along with issuing a newsletter and managing social media accounts. Over the years, a total of 150 people participated, but the "Fine Scale Model Net" itself did not achieve significant results.
Meanwhile, we published 56 issues of the newsletter over the past five years and received many valuable comments and suggestions. From this experience, we recognized the need for a dedicated space focused on solid models, and thus we officially established the "Solid Model Net." We hope that, as a part of model culture, this forum can contribute, even in a small way, to the preservation and development of solid models.
2. What Is a Solid Model?
The "solid models" discussed on this forum are handcrafted scale models primarily made of wood. While aircraft models are currently the main focus, cars and ships are also included within this category.
3. About the Current Forum
This forum was originally operated as a place where beginners and experienced modelers alike could freely participate, post, and interact.
At present, new member registration has been suspended, and the forum is accessible only for guest viewing. Many past posts contain tips for model making and records of interactions, which can serve as valuable resources for anyone interested in solid models.
4. In Conclusion
While no new posts or exchanges can be made on this forum, the knowledge and enthusiasm built through past interactions remain here. We hope that this forum can still serve as a source of inspiration and learning for all who love solid models.

7月末までは、仕事で多忙を極めていました。
いつもながらの素晴らしい細工ですね。
GDA-6は、エンジンがよく見えそうですね。
長く飛んでいただけあって、いいフォルムですね。

カムシャフトのヘッド部分を思い切りカットしてエンジンの制作、そして修正の繰り返しでだいぶ時間が食いましたが取り敢えずサフ吹きまでは来ました。
しかしこの暑さでその後ほとんど進んでいません。仕上げの塗装は秋口になるかもしれません。
